Move with confidence
Thoughtful, experience-led guidance to help you feel safe, strong and capable - in your body and in your movement
What you'll find here
Over the years, I’ve worked with women who want to move more confidently – including those who’ve had a hip replacement and aren’t quite sure what comes next, and those who are simply returning to movement after a long break and don’t know where to begin.
Here you’ll find ideas, guidance and honest reflections drawn from more than 39 years of teaching movement. Some posts will help you feel safer in your body. Others will simply remind you that it’s not too late – and that you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Have a read. Take what’s useful. And if something resonates, that’s a good place to start.

Reading is a helpful starting point, but if you’d prefer something a little more structured, my Online Mobility & Movement Hub BRIO! offers a calm, supportive way to build strength, mobility, and confidence at your own pace.
It’s not about keeping up or pushing through – it’s about understanding your body and learning how to move well within it.
